Shorten the 'donate' and 'participate' links by using redirects Currently the redirects lead to the FAQ entries but in the future we may want to relocate the content and using redirects makes this more convenient.
Clarify that Privoxy is licensed under GPLv2 or later
Revert "Clarify that Privoxy can also be used under the terms of a license later than the GPLv2" The current license of pcrs.c actually prevents the license upgrade. This reverts commit d74933268d8eee2037691f5db776b2103eb13945.
Bump copyright
Clarify that Privoxy can also be used under the terms of a license later than the GPLv2
rebuild docs
remove all of the CVS "$Id: xxx" lines that GIT doesn't do anything with bump the copyright and rebuild the docs RIP CVS no more automatic version number and change timestamp in the source :(
Convert a couple of URLs to https://
Ditch trailing whitespace
Bump some more documentation copyright ranges.
Let the donate link appear in the README too and add a link to the participate FAQ entry. While at it, call the license by its full name.
- Mention that we are an associated project of SPI. - Add a link to the "Would you like to donate?" entry in the FAQ.
- Privoxy doesn't exactly "manage" cookies like a modern browser does, but it can do neat stuff with HTTP headers in general. - Privoxy doesn't reliably block Pop-ups, so stop pretending. - People who never heard of Privoxy are unlikely to to have heard of Internet Junkbuster either, so don't bring it up here. - Mention the license.
Change copyright notice for docs s/2007/2008/. All these will be rebuilt soon enough.
- Bump copyright date. - Minor rewordings.
Add some hyperlinks to reference key terminology.
Small change to hopefully better reflect some of the new actions.
Reorganizing the repository: swapping out what was HEAD (the old 3.1 branch) with what was really the latest development (the v_3_0_branch branch)
Syncing from 3.0 branch - 2.9.16
This is mostly proposed copyright/licensing additions and changes. Docs are still GPL, but licensing and copyright are more visible. Also, copyright changed in doc header comments (eliminate references to JB except FAQ).
